Integrative & Functional Bodywork Diploma

Overview

This exclusive course is designed for any qualified practitioner who really wants to expand their understanding of the human body and the applications of manual therapy. By integrating their years of bodywork experience and working with many industry leaders, we will take you step-by-step through a process that accelerates your ability to see form and function in your clients. It will change the way you see and understand the body and will completely transform the way you work as a practitioner – with more ease, greater accuracy and improved results.

Successful completion of the three workshops will allow you to attend a 5-day masterclass to fully integrate and develop all the skills and knowledge you have been exposed to.

Designed as an intensive retreat, the experience will consolidate and then expand your understanding of manual therapy and application of movement interventions.
The diploma is a unique blend of complementary approaches – the analytical skills of Diane Lee, functional movement of Gary Gray and the deep touch skills of structural integration – all delivered by experienced and renowned tutors.

Our approach gives you the tools to address complex issues safely and effectively.

What makes this course so special?

There is no formal examination at the end of the course and therefore no extra exam fees. You will be assessed as part of a continual process. You will not be required to submit a portfolio of case studies. There will however be homework and research assignments. The training will require you to work, but it will be fun, it will be fully supported and it will be effective.

Who Can Attend:

This course is designed for practitioners, qualified in any form of bodywork. This course/mentorship programme is designed for motivated, dedicated therapists who want to accelerate their career by receiving a distillation of the teacher’s many years of experience in just a few months.

Anyone who has attended all three workshops (Born to Walk, Born to Move, and Move to Integrate – please note; they do not need to be taken in any particular order).

Born To Move

Our clients need to function in the real-world but many assessments, treatments and sometimes even the criteria for client discharge are based on non-contextual and non-load bearing tests. By applying a fully tensegrity-based approach to manual therapy we can work in context and with loads to better prepare our clients for life in the real world.
